About Patrick Gutmann
Patrick is a Principal of Mercer based in Frankfurt. He is the sector leader for High Tech Industries for Mercers European Career business with a focus on business development including implementing forums and network events to enable knowledge exchange between HR stakeholders. He is also responsible for the implementation of the Mercer | Comptryx workforce metrics solution to the European market.

Patrick is focused on data backed decision making helping HR and the business to leverage workforce metrics data to discuss their impact on labor cost, location strategies, demographic profile and hiring/turnover trends. Furthermore he is passionate about how new technology impacts the talent ecosystem and how companies need to prepare for the digital transformation to be able to attract scarce talent.

Patrick holds a master degree in civil engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. Prior joining Mercer in June 2015 Patrick held various roles at other HR consultancies. During his 14 years in HR consulting Patrick has performed a wide range of work in the area of benchmarking and reward trends.
About David Osborne
David is a principal consultant at Mercer. He currently holds the joint positions of European Financial Services & Insurance leader and is the co-leader of Mercer’s site selection practice.

David has a deep interest in exploring the future of work and the impact that key trends (such as Robot Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence etc.) will have on company's future business models, location and people strategies. Once these impacts have been defined,

David advises his clients - utilizing Mercer’s leading technology solutions and industry insights – on how best to prepare for the future. David is a strong advocate of evidence based decision making and believes that HR can and should do more to leverage internal and external data sources to support the business and people related challenges that their organizations encounter.

David holds a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) in International Management from the University of London. Throughout his career David has consulted on a number of large scale change management projects with clients across different industries including: Banking, Logistics, FMCG, Tech and International Governments.

About Chris Upjohn
Chris joined Mercer in May 2018 with a responsibility to engage Multinational Clients with the Mercer Netherlands business.
His role is to lead Mercer’s conversation with senior business leaders in The Netherlands around building the workforce for the future, improving employee experience and to drive engagement with Mercer’s Digital and Information Services.
Prior to joining Mercer, Chris worked in the Information and Advisory Services industry for over 10 years, most notably spending 6 years with C-Level Advisory business CEB (now Gartner). Here, he engaged C-Level Executives in both Government and Multinational companies to increase business performance and develop talent strategies.
