Baohe is a Digital HR Solutions Leader with the Career Services Consulting business based in Singapore. His main area of focus lies with helping organisation through digital transformation by leveraging on HR Technology solutions. He has led large-scale HR Transformation projects in regions such as South-East Asia, Australia and North America.

He has assumed the key speaker role on topics around HR Transformation and Digitalisation at Mercer’s Asia Conference Events during 2018 and 2019.

Baohe has also led 360 Feedback Assessments and Leadership Development Programmes for various clients based in South-East Asia.

Han Yang Neo
Sales Incentive Practice Lead, Mercer

Han Yang is a consultant in the Rewards & Sales Incentive Practice at Mercer Singapore where he is responsible for the delivery of customized solutions throughout the spectrum of Rewards.

Throughout his 8 years in corporate HR and consulting, HanYang has built up extensive experience in job evaluation, grade and salary structure design, rewards benchmarking, short term incentive design, sales incentive design, performance management, and competencies development.

Some of the recent projects that he has successfully delivered include:

– Regional sales incentive framework design for the consumer banking of a leading regional bank and implementation support across 6 markets
– Sales Incentive Plan Design for a state owned Vietnamese bank covering three key line of business - consumer, corporate and treasury banking
– Regional sales incentive framework design for a new business division for a leading Japanese high-tech company
– HR Transformation for a Japanese insurance company to drive pay for performance across 8 group companies

Kulapalee Tobing
Country Career Products Business Leader for Singapore and ASEAN Emerging Markets, Mercer

Kulapalee is the Country Career - Products Business Leader covering Singapore & ASEAN emerging markets and is based in Mercer Singapore. She is primarily responsible for managing the overall Singapore business and leading a group of consultants in managing compensation and benefits benchmarking projects. She is also the Chemical Industry Survey Leader for Asia Pacific.

In 2012, Kulapalee has initiated Mercer’s new Myanmar Compensation and Benefits Survey which she continues to lead. She has grown her expertise in the Myanmar market and has worked with various organization across industries in Myanmar. In 2014, she also has initiated Mercer’s new Cambodia Compensation and Benefits Survey.

Kulapalee has extensive experience conducting position evaluation interviews using Mercer evaluation system and has been responsible for implementation of the system across industry sectors. She has over 20 years experience with Mercer with significant experience across diversified industries in reward strategies across ASEAN countries. Prior to her posting in Singapore, Kulapalee was leading the Career Products business in Indonesia.

Kulapalee holds a MA degree majoring in International Affairs from the Ohio University, and an 2nd Upper Honours Degree from the Chulalongkorn University.

Mansi Shetty
Associate Principal, Mercer Singapore

Mansi is an Associate Principal and Business Growth Manager with the Career business in Mercer’s Singapore office and focuses on rewards solutions, products and services for clients across multiple industries. She is a key trainer for Mercer’s Learning workshop series and customized in-house trainings. She has led various consulting projects for clients across Total Rewards, compensation analytics, job evaluation, grade design, salary structure, etc. She has rich experience in both corporate and consulting world for last 14 years. She is a certified trainer for Mercer’s International Position Evaluation (IPE) and has extensive experience is various applications of the methodology.

In her role she is enforced to drive the business strategy for the Careers product business across various facets of compensation, benefits, employee engagement, smart pay solutions, trainings and regional client relationships across industries like Life Sciences, Logistics & Shipping, Real Estate, Consumer Goods and Retail sectors. She leads a team of Industry specialists & consultants who engage and deliver rewards solutions and consulting projects across domains and industries.

Prior to joining Mercer, Mansi has worked for IT and Services organizations in the area of Total rewards, Performance management, HR Automation, Systems Integration, HR policy design and Business partner HR. She has been working in Mercer for last 9 years, 6 years of which have been spent already in Singapore market.

Mansi holds a Masters degree in Human Resource & Organizational Development from Delhi School of Economics, India.

Peta Latimer
Partner, CEO – Mercer Singapore

Peta is responsible for delivering profitable growth and day-to-day management of Mercer Singapore’s financial drivers through building strong client relationships and project delivery excellence, looking at inorganic opportunities to extend our portfolio, investing in Mercer’s people and ensuring a robust risk management structure.

With many years spent advising multinationals on change and workforce transformation, and having run successful consulting teams, she is passionate about marking a difference to the way work works and always look to drive high performance through people in an authentic and sustainable way.

As an organisational psychologist, she has assisted clients across a range of industries and high profile projects including:
- Advising the largest telco in Indonesia on their Digital 2020 Ambition, leading a full organisation operating model and design review, as well as workforce planning from a sizing and capability perspective.
- Leading the omni-channel transformation project for a global retailer across 5 countries in South East Asia. This included post-merger integration activities of an eCommerce start-up including harmonisation of compensation & benefits and diagnosis of current culture, and helping the executive team agree their 2021 roadmap based on customer journey mapping, leading to the restructure of 11 functions with almost 75% impacted job roles.
- Working with a US insurer who had entered into a JV with a government linked business in Malaysia assisting with the full execution of the HR & Change Management workstream that included capability assessment and upskilling, revamping their EVP and ascertaining change readiness.
- Leading an organisation realignment project for a prominent Financial Services client having reviewed current operating model, assessed inefficiencies, aggregated digital initiatives across the region and proposed to-be state for the Technology & Strategy function and associated workforce plan.

Peta enjoy casual lecturing at NTU’s Business School, and being actively involved in the enhancement of Singapore’s HR capability. In her capacity as CEO, she work to bring the best of Mercer’s content, solutions and people together to meet our client’s dynamic needs.

Piyush Sahoo

Piyush Sahoo
Workforce Analytics, Mercer Singapore

Piyush is a Consultant with the Singapore Workforce Analytics Team. He has a wide-range of experience in delivering analytics projects both within and outside Mercer including Strategic Manpower Planning, competency framework development, external and internal labour market analysis, compensation and benefits benchmarking as so on. In addition to this, Piyush co-leads Mercer Coding Club – a global initiative within Mercer aimed to create an appetite for technology and developing coding skills amongst consultants.

Piyush has supported key analytics projects involving data exploration, clustering, segmentation, and predictive modeling for both public and private sector clients.

In his previous engagement with Mercer Rewards Consulting team, Piyush led the Singapore Education market and the Singapore Life Sciences Market. His role in the team involved growing the client base, addressing client needs, and providing analytical support in rewards based projects. In addition to this, Piyush has supported Mercer’s regional and local team leaders of several markets with finding data driven insights on talent and rewards as well as building data visualizations for presentations. He has worked with several organisations, both local and regional, in conducting custom surveys and delivering compensation analysis, job benchmarking, and job pricing projects. He also has experience in conducting advanced data mining for Employee Engagement Surveys. In addition to this, he provides training to clients on Mercer’s online MBM and WIN system that allow clients to explore and analyse the vast remuneration database. Piyush was involved in a data analytics project with Mercer’s Workforce Metrics Team to examine relationships between workforce related metrics. In another role, Piyush assisted Mercer’s Singapore Operations team to conduct data integrity and validation checks for the Total Remuneration Surveys covering industries such as High-Tech, Engineering, Life Sciences, and the general market.

Piyush holds a Bachelor in Business Management degree from Singapore Management University. He graduated with double majors in Analytics and Marketing.
